TASTING NOTES
Beer produced by the “Parti-Gyle” method. It is made with the wort left over the brewing process of the Imperial Ghisa that lends it a smoked and roasted scents and an intense black colour.
Aroma is fresh, fruity and spicy thanks to the big amount of aromatic hops used especially in dry hopping. Taste of coffee and smoked wood is well balanced by citrusy and fruity fragrances.
NAME'S STORY
The name of this beer is inspired by the little-known Trappist beer “Petite Orval” of 3,5% vol., produced by Brasserie Orval, brewery located within the walls of the Abbey of Notre Dame d’Orval in the Gaume region, Belgium. This hardly available beer is reserved for internal consumption by the monks and the sale in the shop of the cloister. The name “Petite Ghisa” recalls this beer not for the style, but for the concept of producing two beers from a single wort.

PASSION BEER

Double IPA delicately flavoured with fruit | 8% VOL. - 18°P | IBU 45
DESCRIPTION
A double IPA, delicately flavoured with exotic fruit. A bold yellow beer with amber reflections and a nice, compact, white head. On the nose, the herbaceous scent of hops stands out, accompanied by citrous notes which recall mango, grapefruit and ginger. On the palate, the taste is fresh and slightly sour, balanced by a slightly resinous, exotic sweetness with a floral finish and hints of coconut. The alcohol content is masked by these features. The beer has a medium body with a good citrous flavour which brings out the hoppiness typical of an IPA.

Tirabuscion is the result of our desire to produce a beer that represents the missing link with the world of wine: for this reason, a significant quantity of grapes is pressed and added during the wort fermentation process.
TASTING NOTES
The beer is clear with a pinkish, rosé colour and a creamy head. It has a delicate but well-defined fragrance which brings to mind newly-picked grapes and strawberries. The fragrance provided by the grapes is rounded off by a certain fruitiness from American hops which complete the bouquet with tannic and green pepper nuances. The beer’s flavour strikes the right balance between maltiness and the slightly acidic, earthy taste of the grapes. The initial dryness makes way for a floral aftertaste with a slight hint of citrus fruit.
COLOUR: rosé
AROMA: fruity with scents of grape and strawberry
FLAVOUR: delicate notes of red fruit, tannic finish
